Jujitsu, the self-defense skill of gaining victory by yielding to the opponent's strength, gained popularity and spread throughout the world. The art form practiced in ancient Japan is now considered to be among the most effective of the oriental arts. Application of the original techniques are now applied in defense of knife, gun, club and empty handed attacks. Escapes from various situational attacks are taught, including: Head locks, muggers chokes, bear hugs, hair pulls etc. are practiced.   |
